2. Safety Information
For safe installation and long-term use of your Aheaplus Closet System, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
- Anti-Tip Kits: Always secure the closet system to the wall using the provided anti-tip kits. This prevents accidental tipping, especially in households with children or pets.
- Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight recommendation of 1000 pounds for the entire system. Distribute weight evenly across shelves and hanging rods.
- Stable Surface: Ensure the installation surface (floor and wall) is level and capable of supporting the full weight of the assembled system and its contents.
- Tool Safety: Use appropriate safety gear (e.g., eye protection, gloves) when assembling the unit, especially when using power tools.
- Child Safety: Keep small parts and hardware out of reach of children during assembly.

4. Setup and Installation
Assembly typically requires two people and a power drill with both Phillips and Arnold (square drive) heads for efficiency. Follow the numbered steps in the included manufacturer's assembly guide for detailed instructions specific to each part.
4.1. Pre-Assembly
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify all parts using the provided parts list and diagrams.
- Gather necessary tools: Phillips head screwdriver, Arnold (square drive) screwdriver or bits, power drill, hammer, measuring tape, and a level.
4.2. Assembling the Central Tower
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to assemble the main tower structure. This typically involves attaching side panels to the top and bottom panels, and installing fixed shelves.
4.3. Installing Drawers
Assemble each of the four wooden drawers according to the instructions. Ensure drawer slides are correctly oriented and securely attached to both the drawers and the tower unit. Test drawer operation for smooth movement.
4.4. Attaching Hanging Rods
The system includes four expandable hanging rods. Attach the rod supports to the side panels of the tower or directly to the wall at the desired height. Extend the rods to fit your closet width (from 26 inches to 47 inches per rod) and secure them in place.

4.5. Wall Mounting and Configuration
The Aheaplus Closet System is designed for wall mounting to ensure stability. Use the provided anti-tip hardware to secure the unit to a wall stud. The system is adaptable for closet spaces from 4 to 9 feet wide. For smaller spaces (4-5 ft), rods can be installed on one side of the unit. For wider spaces, multiple rod sections can be utilized.

5. Operating the Closet System
Once assembled and secured, your Aheaplus Closet System is ready for use.
- Hanging Rods: Utilize the four hanging rods for garments. Ensure clothes are distributed to prevent excessive weight on one section.
- Wooden Drawers: The four wooden drawers provide enclosed storage for folded clothing, accessories, or other items. Pull drawers out smoothly and push them in completely to ensure proper closure.
- Adjustable Shelves: The central tower features adjustable shelves. To reposition a shelf, remove all items, lift the shelf, and reinsert the shelf pins into the desired holes. Ensure all four pins are securely seated before placing items back on the shelf.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your closet system.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the painted finish. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by drying with a clean cloth.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose connections to maintain structural integrity.
- Drawer Slides: If drawers become stiff, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the drawer slides.
- Weight Distribution: Regularly review the distribution of items to ensure weight is not concentrated in one area, which can stress the structure.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Aheaplus Closet System.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Drawers do not close correctly or are not level. | Improper installation of drawer slides; uneven assembly of drawer box; unit not level. | Verify that drawer slides are installed correctly and are parallel. Check that the drawer box is assembled squarely. Ensure the entire closet system is level on the floor and securely mounted to the wall. |
| Screws or fasteners become loose. | Normal wear and tear; insufficient tightening during assembly. | Periodically inspect all fasteners and re-tighten them with appropriate tools. Do not overtighten. |
| Hanging rods sag or feel unstable. | Overloaded rod; improper installation of rod supports. | Reduce the weight on the rod. Ensure rod supports are firmly attached to the tower or wall studs. Verify the rod is fully extended and locked into place. |
