1. Introduction

The ELECTOP Car Vibration Sound & Light Alarm is designed to provide enhanced security for your vehicle. This anti-theft system features high sensitivity vibration detection, a loud alarm, and flashing LED lights to deter potential thieves. It is built with durable, high-quality materials suitable for various climatic conditions and offers convenient wireless remote control operation.

2. Setup

Before initial use, ensure the alarm unit is fully charged. The unit features a built-in lithium battery and is charged via a USB-C port. The remote control uses AAA batteries, which are included and pre-installed with a protective film that needs to be removed before first use.

2.1. Package Contents:

• 1 x Alarm Unit (with speaker, 5V USB-C port, charging indicator light)
• 1 x Remote Control
• 1 x USB-C Cable
• 2 x Double-sided Tapes (for magnetic base attachment)
• Zip Ties (optional for mounting)

2.2. Mounting the Alarm Unit:

The alarm unit features a magnetic mounting design, allowing for flexible placement within your vehicle. Apply the provided double-sided tapes to the magnetic pads on the back of the alarm unit. Choose a suitable location such as the dashboard, rearview mirror, car door, or rear window for optimal performance and visibility of the LED lights.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Arming and Disarming:

• To Arm the alarm: Press the Lock button () on the remote control. The alarm will emit a confirmation sound and the LED lights will flash.
• To Disarm the alarm: Press the Unlock button () on the remote control. The alarm will emit a disarming sound.

3.2. Vibration Detection and Alarm Tones:

The alarm features high sensitivity vibration detection. It operates in two stages:

• Slight Vibration: For minor impacts or bumps, the alarm will emit a high-pitched warning sound for 2 seconds, accompanied by flashing LED lights. This serves as a deterrent.
• Severe Vibration: For more significant disturbances like prying doors or multiple ordinary vibrations, the alarm will immediately emit 6 different automobile-level alarm tones, with continuous LED indicator flashing for 30 seconds.

3.3. Volume Adjustment:

The alarm volume can be adjusted to three levels: 96dB, 102dB, and 108dB. This allows you to customize the alarm's loudness to suit different environments and preferences. Refer to the instruction manual for specific button presses to adjust volume.

3.4. Remote Control Functions:

The wireless remote control allows you to activate or deactivate the alarm from a distance of up to 98 feet. It also includes a search function to help you locate your vehicle in a parking lot by triggering a sound from the alarm unit.

4.1. Battery Replacement:

The main alarm unit is powered by a built-in lithium battery and is rechargeable via the USB-C port. The remote control uses AAA batteries. To replace the remote control batteries, carefully pry open the remote casing using a small flathead screwdriver at the designated indentation. Replace the old batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity, then snap the casing back together.

4.2. Cleaning:

Wipe the alarm unit and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the device's surface or internal components.

4.3. Material Durability:

The alarm is made of high-quality UV resistant PC material, ensuring durability and stable operation in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.

5. Troubleshooting

• Alarm not sounding or too quiet: Check the battery level of the alarm unit and ensure it is fully charged. Adjust the volume setting using the remote control.
• Remote control not responding: Check the remote control's battery. Ensure you are within the effective wireless control range (up to 98 feet).
• False alarms: The alarm has high sensitivity. Ensure it is mounted securely and not in a location prone to excessive vibrations from normal vehicle operation or external factors.
• Alarm not activating on vibration: Ensure the alarm is armed. Check for any obstructions that might dampen vibrations.
