Remote Control Functions:

Use the included remote control to manage the light's settings from a distance.

  • On/Off: Manually turn the light on or off.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease the light intensity.
  • Timer Settings: Set the light to operate for 3, 5, or 8 hours. After the set time, the light will revert to Motion-Sensing Mode.

Lighting Modes:

The solar flood light offers three versatile lighting modes:

  • Motion Sensor Mode: The light maintains 30% brightness until motion is detected, at which point it automatically adjusts to 100% brightness.
  • Always-On Mode: This mode can be activated through the timer settings. The light will remain at a constant brightness level.
  • Timer Mode (3H/5H/8H): Set the light to operate for a specific duration (3, 5, or 8 hours). After the timer expires, the light will switch back to Motion-Sensing Mode.

Power Capacity Indicators:

The light features indicators to show its power capacity:

  • When fully charged, the green indicator light flashes, and the indicator light remains on.
  • If only the red light is on, the power is below 20%.
  • If 4 lights are on and 1 light is off, the light has 80% power.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Adewalk Solar Street Light.

  • Clean Solar Panels: Periodically wipe the surface of the solar panels with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
  • Check Connections: Annually inspect all electrical connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
  • Inspect Mounting: Verify that the light fixture and solar panels remain securely mounted and are not loose due to weather conditions or vibrations.
  • Battery Care: While the battery is integrated, ensuring the solar panels are clean and receive adequate sunlight helps maintain battery health over time. Avoid prolonged periods of complete discharge.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your solar street light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Light does not turn on at night.Insufficient solar panel charging; switch is off; faulty sensor.Ensure solar panels are clean and receive 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Check if the light is manually turned off via remote. Verify connections.
Light is dim or does not last all night.Inadequate charging; aging battery; cloudy weather.Clean solar panels. Ensure optimal sun exposure. Allow several sunny days for full charge. If issues persist after 2 years, battery performance may be reduced.
Motion sensor not working.Sensor obstructed; incorrect mode selected; sensor malfunction.Clear any obstructions from the sensor. Ensure the light is in Motion Sensor Mode. Test the sensor by walking in its detection range.
Remote control not responding.Remote battery low; obstruction; remote out of range.Replace remote control batteries. Ensure no obstructions between remote and light. Operate within the specified range.
