4. Setup & Installation

4.1 Inserting the SD Card

Insert the provided 64GB SD card into the designated slot on the dash cam. Ensure it clicks into place. The dash cam will automatically format the card upon first use or prompt you to do so.

4.2 Mounting the Front Dash Cam

Attach the suction mount to the front dash cam unit. Clean the windshield thoroughly before attaching the suction mount to ensure a secure grip. Position the dash cam where it does not obstruct your view of the road.

4.3 Installing the Rear Camera

The Ultra HD Rear Camera can be installed on the rear windshield. Use the provided 21.3 ft. connection cable to route the cable from the front dash cam to the rear camera. Ensure the cable is tucked away neatly to avoid interference with driving.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

The dash cam will automatically begin recording when powered on. Use the buttons below the screen to navigate menus and control functions. The 3-inch display shows real-time footage from both front and rear cameras.

5.2 Wi-Fi Connection and Mobile App

To connect your dash cam to the mobile app:

1. Download the dedicated mobile app (refer to the included manual for app details).
2. Enable Wi-Fi on your dash cam through the settings menu.
3. Connect your smartphone to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network. The default password is usually 12345678.
4. Open the app to view live footage, download videos, and adjust settings.

5.3 Loop Recording

The dash cam supports seamless loop recording. When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked video files will be automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.4 G-Sensor and Emergency Recording

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts. In the event of a collision, the current video segment will be automatically locked and saved in a separate folder, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.

5.5 24-Hour Parking Monitoring

With an optional USB-MINI hardwire kit (not included), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle 24/7. If an impact is detected while the vehicle is parked, the dash cam will automatically start recording for 1 minute and lock the footage.
