5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lamp:

  • Bulb Replacement: Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulbs have cooled completely before attempting to replace them. Unscrew the old E14 bulb and screw in a new E14 bulb (max 40W). Do not overtighten.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically check the power cable for any signs of damage, fraying, or kinks. If damage is found, discontinue use and contact a qualified electrician or HOFSTEIN customer support.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your lamp, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Lamp Does Not Turn On:
    • Check if the power cable is securely plugged into a working outlet.
    • Ensure the on/off switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify that the bulbs are correctly installed and not burnt out. Replace if necessary.
    • Test the outlet with another appliance to confirm it has power.
  • Flickering Lights:
    • Ensure bulbs are screwed in tightly.
    • Replace bulbs with new ones to rule out faulty bulbs.
  • Lamp is Unstable:
    • Ensure the main pole is securely fastened to the marble base.
    • Place the lamp on a flat, even surface.

If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact HOFSTEIN customer support.
