5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

The device is battery-powered. Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor and insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

6.2. Applying the Arm Cuff

  1. Wrap the cuff around your bare upper left arm, approximately 1-2 cm (about two fingers) above your elbow.
  2. Ensure the air tube is positioned along the inside of your arm and centered.
  3. The cuff should be snug but not too tight; you should be able to fit two fingers between your arm and the cuff.

6.3. Taking a Measurement

  1. Once the cuff is correctly applied and you are in the proper position, press the START/STOP button (often indicated by a power symbol).
  2. The cuff will automatically inflate and then slowly deflate.
  3. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.

The monitor displays systolic (SYS), diastolic (DIA) blood pressure in mmHg, and pulse rate (PUL) in beats per minute.
