6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ECW210L, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power/LED Off: Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to a PoE+ source. Ensure the PoE+ source is active and functioning correctly.
  • No Wi-Fi Signal: Check if the AP is powered on and its LED indicator is showing normal operation (refer to the Quick Start Guide for LED status). Confirm that the Wi-Fi network (SSID) is enabled in the EnGenius Cloud settings.
  • Slow Connection Speed: Ensure your devices are connecting to the optimal band (5 GHz for faster speeds, 2.4 GHz for better range). Check for interference from other wireless devices. Verify your internet service provider's speed.
  • Cannot Access Cloud Management: Ensure your device has internet connectivity. Verify your EnGenius Cloud account credentials.
  • Device Not Appearing in Cloud: Ensure the AP is connected to the internet and has successfully registered with the EnGenius Cloud. A factory reset might be necessary if initial setup failed.
