Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your chainsaw before initial use.

1. Install Jam Teeth: Position the jam teeth (also known as bumper spikes) in the correct direction onto the chainsaw body.
2. Install Guide Bar: Mount the guide bar onto the chainsaw studs. Ensure it is seated properly.
3. Install Chain: Carefully place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges are facing the correct direction.
4. Cover Side Cover: Place the side cover over the guide bar and chain assembly.
5. Adjust Chain Tightness: Adjust the chain tensioning screw until the chain is snug but can still be pulled freely by hand. The chain should not sag on the underside of the guide bar.
6. Tighten Screw: Securely tighten the nuts on the side cover to hold the guide bar and chain in place.

Fuel and Oil Mixture

This chainsaw operates on a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture.

• Fuel Mixture Ratio: Mix 90# Gasoline with 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 25:1 (25 parts gasoline to 1 part oil).
• Fuel Tank Capacity: 550ml (18.6 Oz)
• Chain Oil Tank Capacity: 140ml (4.73 Oz) - Use dedicated chain lubricant oil for the chain oil tank.

WARNING: Never use pure gasoline or an incorrect oil mixture, as this will severely damage the engine and void the warranty.

Operating Instructions

Starting the Chainsaw

1. Engage Brake: Push the chain brake forward to engage it. This is a safety measure to prevent the chain from moving during startup.
2. Power Switch: Move the On/Off switch to the "On" position.
3. Choke: Pull the choke knob fully out to the choke position.
4. Pull Starter: Pull the start handle firmly and steadily (maximum 6 times) until the engine briefly fires or attempts to start.
5. Disengage Choke: Push the choke knob back fully to the run position.
6. Final Start: Pull the starter handle again until the engine starts. Once started, allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before disengaging the chain brake and beginning work.
