3. Installation Guide
This section provides general instructions for installing the SIXWIN Android Car Stereo. Professional installation is recommended.
3.1 Disassembly of Original Car Stereo
- Carefully use the provided plastic pry tools to remove the side trim panels around the original car stereo unit. Start from the bottom and work your way up.
- Locate and remove the screws securing the original stereo unit. Typically, these are 7mm screws.
- Gently pull out the original stereo unit. Disconnect all wiring harnesses by pressing the release clips and pulling them straight out.
- Remove the air vents from the original stereo panel. These are usually held by plastic clips.

3.2 Wiring Connections
- Connect the main power cable to the corresponding port on the new Android stereo.
- Connect the CANBUS decoder to the main harness.
- Plug in the 6PIN and 4PIN USB cables to the stereo unit.
- Connect the RCA cable set for audio/video inputs/outputs.
- Attach the external microphone cable to the stereo.
- Connect the GPS antenna to the designated port. Position the GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky, typically on the dashboard.
