1. Introduction

The EUHOMY Portable Countertop Dishwasher (Model DW002-5) is designed for efficient and convenient dish cleaning in various settings, including small apartments, dorms, RVs, and boats. This compact appliance offers advanced functionalities and versatile washing programs to meet diverse household needs while conserving water and energy.

3. Setup

3.1 Water Filling Choices

The dishwasher offers two convenient methods for water supply: using the built-in 5L water tank or connecting directly to a faucet.

Water Tank Mode:

For manual filling, open the top lid and pour water into the designated inlet using the provided water cup until the tank is full. The dishwasher will indicate when the water level is sufficient.

Pipe Connection Mode:

Connect the inlet hose to the water inlet at the back of the dishwasher and to a G3/4 inch faucet connection. Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks. If your faucet size does not match, a separate adapter may be required.

3.2 Drain Hose Connection

Attach the drain hose to the outlet at the back of the dishwasher. Direct the other end of the drain hose into a sink or a suitable drainage point. Ensure the hose is properly secured to prevent dislodgement during operation.

3.3 Initial Use and Testing

The dishwasher undergoes a quality test for the water inlet before leaving the factory, so a small amount of residual water inside is normal. This is not a defect. Before first use, it is recommended to run a short cycle without dishes to flush out any manufacturing residue.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The dishwasher features an intuitive LED control panel with touch-sensitive buttons for easy operation. The display shows the remaining time and selected program.

4.2 Loading the Dishwasher

Before loading, remove large, hard food scraps from dishes. Refer to the illustration on the dishwasher's top panel for optimal loading. Load hollow items such as cups and glasses with the opening facing downwards. The innovative interior design maximizes capacity, allowing for over 30 dishes (including pots) in a single load, accommodating plates up to 10.25 inches in diameter.

4.3 Washing Programs

The dishwasher offers 8 tailored programs to suit various cleaning needs:

• Normal: Standard wash cycle with hot-cold-cold-hot water for thorough cleaning (approx. 69 minutes).
• ECO: Energy-efficient wash cycle.
• QUICK: Fast wash cycle, completing in just 29 minutes.
• Baby Care/Strong: Uses high-temperature water (167°F/75°C) ideal for baby items and pet accessories.
• Glass: Gentle cycle designed for delicate glassware.
• Fruit: Specifically designed for washing fruits and vegetables.
• Self-clean: Eliminates stubborn odors and maintains interior cleanliness.
• Dry Mode: Provides 60 minutes of PTC hot air drying, extendable to 73 hours of automatic ventilation.

4.4 Detergent Usage

Use only detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. The user manual provides guidance on the recommended amount of detergent for each cycle. The detergent dispenser is located on the inner door.

4.5 Drying Function

The enhanced drying mode utilizes PTC hot air for 60 minutes, followed by 73 hours of automatic ventilation to ensure dishes are dry and odor-free. This mode can be activated with any washing cycle (except Fruit mode) or independently.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Self-Clean Mode

Utilize the Self-Clean mode regularly to eliminate stubborn odors and maintain the interior cleanliness of the dishwasher. This mode operates automatically to ensure hygienic conditions.

5.2 Filter Cleaning

The dishwasher is equipped with an advanced food residue filter. Regularly check and clean the filter to prevent blockages and ensure optimal washing performance. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on filter removal and cleaning.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Residual Water Upon Receipt

If you find water droplets inside the dishwasher upon receipt, do not be alarmed. This is a normal occurrence due to waterproof testing conducted at the factory to ensure quality and prevent leakage.

6.2 Faucet Compatibility

The dishwasher comes with a dedicated water inlet hose compatible with G3/4 inch faucet connections. If your home's faucet size does not match, please purchase a faucet adapter separately.

6.3 General Warnings

• Do not wash BPA plastic products in the dishwasher.
• Do not block the air vent on the right side of the dishwasher.
• Be careful of high-temperature steam burns when opening the door. If you need to open the door during a wash, touch the pause button first, and then slowly open the door.
• The Dry mode cannot be paused or canceled during operation. To exit the mode, touch and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the dishwasher.
