1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe installation, operation, and maintenance of your Feit Electric SL24-12/RGBW/WFIL 24ft Color Changing LED String Light. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, follow these instructions:

• This product is for OUTDOOR USE ONLY. Do not use indoors.
• Always unplug the string lights from the power outlet before installing, relocating, or servicing.
• Ensure the power cord and plug are in good condition. Do not use if damaged.
• Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
• Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
• Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
• This product is Wet Rated, meaning it is designed to withstand outdoor weather conditions like rain. However, ensure all connections are secure and protected.
• Do not submerge the product in water.
• Use only with 120V AC power supply.

4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Choose Location: Select an outdoor location for installation. Ensure the area is clear of obstructions and provides adequate support for the string lights.
3. Install Bulbs: Screw each LED bulb into the empty sockets on the string light strand. Ensure they are finger-tight but do not overtighten.
4. Hang String Lights: Securely hang the string lights using appropriate outdoor-rated hooks, clips, or guide wires (not included). Ensure the string is supported at regular intervals to prevent sagging and strain on the cord.
5. Link Multiple Sets (Optional): If you wish to extend your lighting, you can link up to two Feit Electric SL24-12/RGBW/WFIL string light sets. Connect the male plug of the second set into the female receptacle at the end of the first set. Ensure the connection is tight and secure to maintain weather resistance.

6. Plug In: Once the string lights are securely installed and all bulbs are in place, plug the power cord into a standard 120V outdoor-rated electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Feit Electric LED String Lights can be controlled using the included remote control or the in-line controller on the power cord.

Remote Control Functions:

• Power On/Off: Press the ON button to turn the lights on, and the OFF button to turn them off.
• Color Selection: Use the dedicated color buttons (R, G, B, W, and other color swatches) to select a specific static color for your lights.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the Brightness Up and Brightness Down buttons (usually represented by sun icons or up/down arrows) to adjust the intensity of the light.
• Mode Selection: Press the FLASH, STROBE, FADE, or BLINK buttons to cycle through various dynamic lighting effects.
• Timer Function: Set a timer for the lights to automatically turn off after a specified duration. Press 4H for 4 hours, 6H for 6 hours, or 8H for 8 hours. Press TIMER OFF to deactivate the timer.

In-Line Controller:

The in-line controller, located on the power cord, provides basic control over the lights, typically allowing you to cycle through colors and turn the unit on/off if the remote is not available.

• Cleaning: Disconnect the string lights from the power source before cleaning. Wipe the bulbs and cord with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Bulb Replacement: If a bulb needs replacement, ensure the string lights are unplugged. Carefully unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new Feit Electric compatible LED bulb. The product includes one spare bulb.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, unplug the string lights, clean them, and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Coil the string neatly to prevent tangling and damage.
