3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To clean the screen and body of the Shimbol CP5, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
3.2 Storage
When not in use, store the monitor in its magnetic silicone case to protect it from scratches and impacts. Keep the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
3.3 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50%.
4. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged. If the issue persists, try a different USB-C cable and power adapter.
- Connection Issues (Wi-Fi/Screen Mirroring):
- Verify that the CP5 is in WLAN mode and displaying the QR code/network details.
- Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to the CP5's network.
- For Apple devices, confirm Screen Mirroring is selected. For Android, ensure Wireless Projection is active.
- Restart both the CP5 and your phone.
- Bluetooth Remote Not Working:
- Check if the remote's battery is charged.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the remote is paired.
- Confirm the camera app is open on your phone.
- Screen Lag/Delay: While the CP5 has ultra-low latency, environmental factors (e.g., strong Wi-Fi interference, long distances) can affect performance. Try reducing the distance between the phone and the monitor or moving to an area with less interference.
- Screen Not Responding to Touch: Restart the device. If the problem continues, ensure the screen is clean and free of moisture.
