3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the VASAGLE KKS014Y02 Kitchen Shelf is required. Follow the detailed instructions provided in your package. All parts are numbered for easy identification.

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify each part using the numbered labels and the assembly diagram.
3. Follow the step-by-step instructions to connect the frame components and attach the shelves.
4. Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened securely, but do not overtighten.
5. Once assembled, adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the frame to ensure the shelf is stable and does not wobble on uneven surfaces.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power Strip Usage

The kitchen shelf is equipped with an integrated power strip for convenient access to electrical outlets.

• The power strip features 2 AC outlets suitable for standard kitchen appliances.
• It includes an on/off switch to control power to the outlets, indicated by a red button.
• Overload protection is integrated to ensure safety. Do not exceed the maximum power rating of the strip to prevent tripping the circuit breaker.
• Plug the main power cord of the shelf into a grounded wall outlet.
• Use the red switch on the power strip to turn power on or off to connected appliances.

4.2 Adjustable Shelf

The middle shelf can be adjusted to three different heights to accommodate various kitchen appliances or storage needs.

• To adjust, carefully remove any items from the shelf.
• Unscrew the fasteners holding the shelf in place.
• Reposition the shelf to the desired height and re-secure with the fasteners. Ensure both sides are at the same height and fasteners are tightened.

4.3 Kitchen Towel Holder and Hooks

The top section includes a bar for a kitchen towel roll and several hooks for hanging mugs or utensils.

• Place a standard-sized kitchen towel roll onto the designated bar.
• Hang mugs, spatulas, or other lightweight kitchen tools on the provided hooks.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these may damage the finish.
• Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the wood surfaces.
• Stability Check: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the shelves to prevent stress on the frame and ensure stability.

6. Troubleshooting

• Shelf is wobbly:
  • Ensure all assembly screws are securely tightened.
  • Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the frame to compensate for uneven floors.
• Power strip not working:
  • Check if the main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
  • Ensure the on/off switch on the power strip is in the "on" position.
  • If the overload protection has tripped, unplug all devices, reset the switch (if applicable, usually by pressing it again), and then plug devices back in one by one, ensuring not to exceed the maximum load.
• Missing or damaged parts:
  • Contact VASAGLE customer support immediately for assistance. Do not attempt to assemble with missing or damaged parts.
