5. Setup

5.1 Charging and Installing Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert a fully charged battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. To charge, connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will illuminate.

5.2 Inserting the SD Card

  1. Locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the 32GB SD card with the metal contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the card until it springs out.

5.3 Attaching the Microphone and Fill Light

  1. Slide the external microphone into the hot shoe mount on top of the camera.
  2. Connect the microphone cable to the microphone input port on the camera.
  3. Attach the LED fill light to an available mount or accessory shoe if desired.

5.4 Attaching the Lens Hood

  1. Align the 43mm lens hood with the front of the camera lens.
  2. Gently twist the lens hood clockwise until it is securely attached.
