Setup and Installation
The UnderCover Select Tonneau Cover features a no-drill, clamp-on installation process. Two people are recommended for easier handling during installation.
- Prepare the Truck Bed: Clean the truck bed rails thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion and sealing.
- Position Side Rails: Place the left and right mounting rails along the inside of the truck bed rails. Ensure they are flush and properly aligned.
- Secure Side Rails: Use the provided clamps to secure the mounting rails to the truck bed. Tighten clamps evenly, but do not overtighten.
- Install Drain Tubes (if applicable): If your model includes drain tubes, attach them to the designated ports on the front of the cover rails and route them through the truck bed's drain holes.
- Place Tonneau Cover: With assistance, carefully place the folded tonneau cover assembly onto the installed side rails at the front of the truck bed.

Operating Instructions
Opening the Cover (Partial Access)
- Release Latches: From either side of the truck bed, locate the release cable or handle. Pull the cable to disengage the latches on the first panel.
- Fold Panel: Gently lift and fold the first panel towards the cab.
- Secure Folded Panels: If folding for ⅔ bed access, continue to fold the second panel. Use the integrated retaining straps to secure the folded sections against the cab, preventing them from unfolding during transit.

Closing the Cover
- Unstrap and Unfold: Release the retaining straps and carefully unfold the panels towards the tailgate.
- Engage Latches: Press down firmly on each panel until the latches engage securely with the side rails. You should hear an audible click.
- Secure Tailgate: Close and lock your truck's tailgate to fully secure the cargo area. The cover utilizes the tailgate lock for security, eliminating external locks on the cover itself.
Removing the Entire Cover (Full Bed Access)
For full bed access, the entire cover can be removed quickly without tools.
- Fold Cover: Fold the cover completely towards the cab and secure it with the retaining straps.
- Release Knobs: Locate the quick-release knobs at the front of the cover assembly (near the cab). Turn and pull these knobs to disengage the cover from the mounting rails.
- Lift and Remove: With assistance, carefully lift the entire cover assembly off the truck bed. Store it in a safe, flat location to prevent damage.
