5. Maintenance

5.1 Filter Replacement

The filter should be replaced approximately every 3 months or after filtering 80 gallons of water, whichever comes first. Follow the steps outlined in Section 3.2 for filter installation and preparation when replacing the filter.

5.2 Cleaning

Regularly clean the reservoir and dispensing unit with mild soap and water. Ensure all parts are thoroughly rinsed and dried before reassembly. Do not submerge the electronic dispensing unit in water.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Slow Water Flow: This may indicate a clogged or expired filter. Check the filter life indicator and replace the filter if necessary.
  • Unpleasant Taste or Odor: This is typically a sign that the filter needs to be replaced. Ensure the new filter is properly flushed before use.
  • Dispenser Not Turning On/Off: Ensure the battery is charged. If the issue persists, try resetting the unit by holding down the water drop button for 3 seconds (after filter replacement).
  • Water Leaks: Check that all components, especially the filter and dispensing unit, are correctly seated and tightened.
