1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the FOWORE 4.3 Cuft Digital Home Safe. This safe is designed to provide secure storage for your valuables, documents, and personal items. It features a robust steel construction, a programmable digital keypad, and an intelligent alarm system for enhanced security. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your safe.
2. Safety Information
- Do not store emergency keys inside the safe. Always keep them in a secure, separate location away from the safe.
- Ensure the safe is placed on a stable, level surface or securely mounted to a wall/floor to prevent tipping.
- Keep the safe away from excessive moisture or direct heat sources.
- Regularly check battery levels to ensure proper operation of the digital keypad.
- This safe is designed for security and includes a fireproof and waterproof document bag for added protection against fire and water damage for contents placed inside the bag. The safe itself is not water resistant.
3. Product Components

4. Setup
4.1 Initial Opening (First Time Use)
For the first time opening, use one of the provided emergency backup keys:
- Locate the keyhole on the digital keypad panel.
- Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
- While holding the key turned, rotate the knob on the keypad clockwise to open the safe door.

4.2 Battery Installation
The digital keypad requires 4 AA batteries (not included) for operation. Install them after opening the safe with the emergency key:
- Open the battery compartment located on the inside of the safe door.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment.
4.3 Setting Your Personal Passcode
After installing batteries, you can set your personal passcode (3-8 digits):
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door (usually near the hinge). You will hear a beep and the yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the '#' button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation beep.
- Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.
4.4 Mounting the Safe
The safe can be securely mounted to a wall or floor using the provided expansion screws:
- Choose a suitable location for mounting. The safe has pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom panels.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall or floor through the pre-drilled holes.
- Drill holes at the marked positions.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the expansion screws.
- Tighten the screws firmly to secure the safe in place.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening the Safe
There are three methods to open your FOWORE safe:
- Using Passcode: Enter your 3-8 digit passcode, then press '*' or '#' to confirm. The green light will illuminate. Rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.
- Using Emergency Key: (For first-time use, forgotten passcode, or dead batteries) Insert the emergency key into the keyhole, turn it clockwise, and simultaneously rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.
- Using External Battery Box: (If batteries are dead and emergency key is unavailable) Connect the external battery box to the port on the keypad. Enter your passcode, then rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.

5.2 Mute Mode
To activate or deactivate the mute mode:
- Press and hold the '*' key.
- Then, press the '8' key to toggle the buzzer sound on or off.
5.3 Anti-Theft Alarm System
The safe is equipped with an intelligent alarm system:
- If three consecutive incorrect passcodes are entered, the alarm system will activate, sounding an alert and locking the keypad temporarily.
- The alarm can be silenced using the mute mode feature if desired.

6. Features
6.1 Robust Construction
The FOWORE safe is constructed from sturdy cold-rolled steel, offering good rust and high-temperature resistance. It features a 50mm thick door and 3 round 20mm locking bolts, along with a micro-seam design, providing impact and pry resistance.

6.2 Removable Shelves and LED Light
The safe includes 3 removable shelves, allowing you to customize the internal storage space according to your needs. A built-in LED light illuminates the interior for easy access to your belongings, even in low light conditions.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Battery Replacement
When the battery power is low, the keypad indicator light may flash red or the safe may not respond. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
7.2 Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
8. Troubleshooting
