1. Important Safety Warnings

Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in death or serious injury.

Suffocation Hazard

• Babies have suffocated on pillows, soft bedding, comforters, and extra padding.
• In gaps between a wrong-size mattress, or extra padding and product sides.
• NEVER add soft bedding or padding.
• USE ONLY mattress provided by manufacturer.
• ALWAYS place baby on back to sleep to reduce the risk of SIDS and suffocation.
• If a sheet is used with the pad/mattress, use only the one provided by the product manufacturer or one specifically designed to fit the dimension of the product mattress.

Fall Hazard

• Do not use this product when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9kgs (19.84lbs), whichever comes first.

Entrapment Hazard

• To prevent death from entrapment, the bedside sleeper must be properly secured to an adult bed using the attachment system.
• There must be no more than 1/2 inch (13 mm) gap between the bedside sleeper and the adult bed.
• Check tightness before each use by pulling the bedside sleeper in a direction away from the adult bed.
• If the gap exceeds 1/2 inch (13 mm), DO NOT use the product. Do not fill the gap with pillows, blankets or other items that are suffocation hazards.
• This bedside sleeper is designed for use only with adult beds between 22.05 and 27.17 inches from the floor to the top of the adult mattress.
• To avoid death from the infant's neck being caught on the top rail on the side that is next to the adult bed, the top rail must be no higher than the adult bed mattress.
• Always read and follow manufacturer's assembly instructions for each product use mode (bedside sleeper or bassinet).
• Always use ALL required parts for each use mode. Check the instruction manual for a list of required parts. Periodically check the product for loose, damaged or missing parts.
• Baby Bassinet must not be tilted or inclined during use. Never leave your child unattended, please use under adult supervision.

Do not place any cord, strap or similar item in or near this bassinet that could become wrapped around a child's neck. Do not place this bassinet near a window or patio door where a child could reach the cord of a blind or curtain and be strangled. Check this bassinet regularly before using it and do not use it if any part is loose or missing or if there are any signs of damage. Do not substitute parts. Contact the manufacturer if replacement parts or additional instructions are needed.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to correctly assemble your Larex Baby Bassinet. Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.

1. Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Refer to the parts list in your included user manual.
2. Attach the height adjustable bars to the sleeper frame. Ensure they click securely into place.
3. Connect the bottom legs to the height adjustable bars.
4. Insert the crossbar to stabilize the base.
5. Place the mattress inside the sleeper frame.
6. Adjust the height as needed using the adjustment buttons on the side.
7. For bedside sleeper mode, unzip the side panel and secure the bassinet to your bed using the provided fixing belt.

4. Operating Instructions

The Larex Baby Bassinet offers multiple modes for your convenience and your baby's comfort.

4.1 Bedside Sleeper Mode

To use the bassinet as a bedside sleeper, unzip the side panel closest to your bed. Ensure the bassinet is securely attached to your bed using the provided safety belt. Adjust the height so the bassinet mattress is level with your bed mattress, or slightly lower, ensuring the top rail is no higher than your mattress.

4.2 Standalone Bassinet Mode

For standalone use, ensure both side panels are zipped up and secured. The bassinet can be moved easily between rooms thanks to its universal wheels. Lock the wheels when the bassinet is in a stationary position.

4.3 Height Adjustment

To adjust the height, press the adjustment buttons on each side of the bassinet frame and slide the legs up or down to the desired level. There are 7 height positions available to accommodate various bed heights.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Bassinet feels unstable

• Ensure all frame connections are securely locked.
• Verify that the bottom legs are fully extended and the crossbar is properly installed.
• If using in bedside sleeper mode, confirm the safety belt is tightly secured to the adult bed.

6.2 Side panel does not zip smoothly

• Check for any fabric obstruction in the zipper path.
• Ensure the fabric is aligned correctly before zipping.

6.3 Wheels are not locking or moving freely

• Check if the wheel locks are fully engaged or disengaged as desired.
• Clean any debris or hair from the wheel mechanisms.
