4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Lights: Carefully remove the light string and all accessories from the packaging. Untangle the string gently to avoid damage to the wires or bulbs.
2. Inspect for Damage: Before plugging in, visually inspect the entire light string, including the bulbs, wires, plug, and control box, for any signs of damage. Do not use if any part is damaged.
3. Power Connection: Locate the power plug and the inline control box. Ensure the connection between the light string and the control box is secure. Plug the power adapter into a standard 120V AC outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Remote Control

The included remote control provides full functionality to customize your lighting experience:

• Power On/Off: Press the Power button (usually a circle with a vertical line) to turn the lights on or off.
• Color Selection: Use the dedicated color buttons (e.g., Red, Green, Blue, White, Yellow, Purple, Multi) to instantly switch to your desired color.
• Effect Selection: The remote features buttons for various effects such as Fading, Flashing, Sparkle, Twinkle, and All Color Change. Press the corresponding button to activate an effect.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the brightness of the lights.

5.2 Using the Inline Control Box

For manual control, the inline control box allows you to cycle through the available lighting effects and colors. Simply press the button on the control box repeatedly to change the mode.

6. Connecting Multiple Strings

These lights are designed for end-to-end connectivity, allowing you to link up to 5 sets from a single power source. To connect:

1. Ensure both light strings are unplugged from the power source.
2. Locate the male connector on one string and the female connector on the other.
3. Align and firmly push the connectors together until they are securely joined.
4. Once connected, plug the first string's power adapter into an outlet. All connected strings will operate synchronously.

Caution: Do not exceed the maximum limit of 5 connected strings to prevent overloading the circuit.

7. Indoor and Outdoor Use

• Bulb Replacement: These LED lights are designed for long life (up to 25,000 hours). Individual bulb replacement is generally not required or recommended. If a section of lights fails, inspect connections and the control box.

• Lights Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into a working outlet.
  • Check the connection between the light string and the inline control box.
  • Verify the remote control battery is functional and the protective tab has been removed.
• Remote Control Not Responding:
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the inline control box.
  • Replace the remote control battery if necessary (uses a button cell or coin battery).
• Partial String Not Lit:
  • Check for loose or damaged bulbs. While LEDs are durable, extreme impact can cause issues.
  • Inspect wire connections for any breaks or kinks.
