Operating Instructions

2. Finding Items Far Away (Map Tracking)
If your tracker tag is out of Bluetooth range, you can still locate it using the Apple Find My network. The 'Find My' app will display the last known location of your item on a map, and you can get directions to that location. The network anonymously relays location data from other Apple devices.

3. Lost Mode
If an item with your tracker tag is lost, you can enable 'Lost Mode' in the 'Find My' app. When another Apple device in the Find My network detects your lost item, you will receive a notification of its location. You can also leave a contact message for anyone who finds your item.

5. Privacy Features
All communication within the Find My network is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. Location data and history are never stored on the item finder itself. The system also includes features to prevent unwanted tracking by alerting you if an unknown tracker moves with you.

1. Checking Battery Status

Troubleshooting
- Device not pairing: Ensure the device is powered on and in pairing mode (indicated by a beep). Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device and the 'Find My' app is open. Try restarting both the tracker and your iOS device.
- No sound when 'Play Sound' is activated: Check if the tracker is within Bluetooth range. Ensure the battery is not depleted.
- Inaccurate location: Location accuracy depends on the density of the Apple Find My network. Ensure your tracker is in an area where it can be detected by other Apple devices.
- 'Left Behind' notifications not working: Check the settings in the 'Find My' app to ensure 'Notify When Left Behind' is enabled for your tracker. Verify Bluetooth connection is stable.
