1. Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before cleaning, maintenance, or bulb replacement. Ensure the power outlet voltage matches the lamp's requirements (230V).
- Installation: This lamp is designed for indoor use only (IP20). Do not expose to moisture or extreme temperatures. Ensure the lamp is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
- Bulb Type: Use only E14 bulbs with a maximum wattage of 25W per light. Do not exceed the recommended wattage.
- Handling: Glass shades are fragile. Handle with care during assembly and cleaning.
- Children and Pets: Keep the lamp out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
- Damage: Do not operate the lamp if the cord, plug, or any part of the lamp is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present and undamaged before proceeding with assembly.

3. Setup & Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your HOFSTEIN Koyoto Floor Lamp.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Base: Secure the lower pole section (with the power cord) to the lamp base using the provided screw and washer from underneath the base. Tighten firmly.
- Connect Pole Sections: Screw the middle pole section onto the lower pole section. Then, screw the upper pole section (with lamp holders) onto the middle pole section. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Install Bulbs: Carefully screw E14 bulbs (max 25W each, not included) into each of the four lamp holders. Do not overtighten.
- Attach Glass Shades: Gently place the glass shades over the lamp holders. The lamp includes two amber and two smoked glass shades. You can arrange them in any desired order. Ensure they are seated securely.
- Position Lamp: Place the assembled lamp on a stable, level surface in your desired location. Ensure the power cord is not pinched or obstructed.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V wall outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
The HOFSTEIN Koyoto Floor Lamp is operated using a simple foot switch.
- Turning On: Once plugged into a power outlet, press the foot switch located on the power cord to turn the lamp on.
- Turning Off: Press the foot switch again to turn the lamp off.
- Dimming: This lamp is not dimmable. It operates at a single brightness level.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your lamp.
- Cleaning:
- Always disconnect the lamp from the power supply before cleaning.
- Wipe the metal parts with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- For glass shades, gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth to prevent water spots.
- Bulb Replacement:
- Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulbs have cooled completely before attempting to replace them.
- Carefully unscrew the old E14 bulb.
- Screw in a new E14 bulb (max 25W).
- Inspection: Periodically check the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. Ensure all connections remain tight.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your lamp, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
