Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your FiiO TT13 Fully Automatic Vinyl Stereo Turntable. Designed for ease of use, the TT13 features a fully automatic tonearm, a powerful built-in phono preamp, and a robust aluminum construction to deliver a high-fidelity analog audio experience. Setup

1. Turntable Assembly

Place the turntable on a stable, level surface. Carefully mount the die-cast aluminum platter onto the spindle. Locate the drive belt and gently place it around the motor pulley, ensuring it is not twisted. Place the platter mat on top of the platter.

2. Dust Cover Installation

Insert the hinge pockets of the dust cover into the hinges located at the rear of the turntable chassis. The dust cover protects the turntable from dust and debris when not in use.

3. Power Connection

Connect the power cord to the DC 12V input on the rear of the turntable, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The TT13 supports a wide AC 100-240V voltage range.

4. Audio Connection

Connect the supplied RCA audio cable to the ANALOG OUT ports on the turntable. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to your powered speakers or amplifier. Ensure the PHONO/LINE switch on the turntable's rear panel is set to the appropriate position (LINE for built-in preamp, PHONO if using an external phono preamp).

5. Tonearm Preparation

Carefully remove any protective packaging or twist-ties securing the tonearm. Ensure the stylus guard is removed before playback. The TT13 features a pre-calibrated tonearm for immediate use.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn the turntable on or off. The unit will illuminate when powered on.

2. Selecting Playback Speed

Use the SPEED button to toggle between 33 1/3 RPM and 45 RPM, matching the speed to your vinyl record. For 7-inch 45 RPM records, use the included adapter.

3. Automatic Playback

Place a record on the platter. Press the START/STOP button. The tonearm will automatically lift, move to the beginning of the record, and begin playback. To stop playback, press the START/STOP button again. The tonearm will automatically lift, return to its rest, and the platter will stop spinning.

4. Loop Playback

The TT13 supports automatic loop playback. After a record finishes, the tonearm will return to the start and replay the record. Press the REPEAT button to activate or deactivate this feature.

5. Remote Control Operation

Use the custom infrared remote control to manage various functions from a distance, including power on/off, start/stop playback, repeat play, and adjusting lighting brightness. The remote also allows fine-tuning of the tonearm direction for precise cueing.

6. Customizable Lighting Effects

The TT13 features customizable RGB and LED lighting effects. Adjust the lighting brightness or turn off the lights using the controls on the machine or the remote control.

Fully Automatic Tonearm Design

The FiiO TT13 is equipped with a fully automatic tonearm, simplifying the vinyl playback experience. With a single touch, the tonearm automatically positions itself at the start of the record and returns to its rest position upon completion, minimizing wear on both the stylus and records.

Powerful Built-in Phono Preamp

The turntable integrates a professional-grade phono preamp, delivering a line output level of 800mV@1kHz 0dB. Pure Analog Audio Architecture

The audio section of the TT13 utilizes a fully analog architecture, featuring two imported high-fidelity JRC5532 operational amplifiers in a two-stage amplification circuit. This design, complemented by multiple electrolytic capacitors and independent LDO power supplies, ensures low noise levels and a rich, warm analog sound.

Robust All-Aluminum Alloy Panel

Maintenance

Cleaning the Turntable

• Regularly wipe the dust cover and chassis with a soft, dry cloth.
• For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the finish.

Stylus Care

• Gently clean the stylus regularly using a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing from back to front.
• Avoid touching the stylus with your fingers to prevent damage or contamination.
• Replace the stylus when signs of wear appear (e.g., distorted sound, skipping), typically after 300-500 hours of playback.

Record Care

• Always handle records by their edges to avoid transferring oils and dirt.
• Store records vertically in their sleeves in a cool, dry place.
• Clean records with a dedicated record brush before each play to remove dust and static.

Troubleshooting

No Power

• Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the turntable and the wall outlet.
• Verify the wall outlet is functioning correctly by plugging in another device.

No Sound or Low Volume

• Check all audio cable connections between the turntable and your amplifier/speakers.
• Ensure the PHONO/LINE switch on the turntable's rear is set correctly for your setup.
• Verify your amplifier/speakers are powered on and set to the correct input.
• Confirm the stylus is properly seated and not damaged.

Skipping or Distorted Sound

• Ensure the turntable is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent vibrations.
• Clean the record and stylus thoroughly.
• Check for any visible damage to the record or stylus.

Incorrect Playback Speed

• Verify the SPEED button is set to the correct RPM (33 1/3 or 45) for your record.
• Ensure the drive belt is correctly installed and not slipping.
