READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.
- Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug, or after the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.

3. Product Overview
The COSTWAY Oil Filled Radiator Heater SH-36 provides efficient and quiet heating for indoor spaces. It features multiple heat settings, an adjustable thermostat, and safety mechanisms for reliable operation.

4. Assembly and Setup
This heater comes largely pre-assembled. Follow these steps to prepare it for use:
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage.
- Caster Wheel Installation: Attach the universal casters to the base of the heater. Ensure they are securely fastened for easy mobility.
- Positioning: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, and other objects. Do not place it directly under a power outlet.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V, 60Hz grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

5. Operating Instructions
The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
5.1 Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote control to turn the heater on or off.
5.2 Heat Settings
The heater offers three power settings:
- 600W: Low heat for smaller spaces or minimal warmth.
- 900W: Medium heat for moderate warmth.
- 1500W: High heat for rapid warming of larger areas (up to 300 sq.ft).
Press the LEVEL button on the remote control or the corresponding button on the unit to cycle through the heat settings.

5.3 Adjustable Thermostat
Set your desired room temperature between 59°F (15°C) and 95°F (35°C).
- Use the TEMP + or TEMP - buttons on the control panel or remote control to adjust the temperature in 1°F increments/decrements.
- The heater will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set temperature.

5.4 Timer Function
The 1-12 hour timer allows you to program the heater to turn on or off automatically.
- Press the TIMER button on the control panel or remote control.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired operating duration (1 to 12 hours).
- The LED display will show the remaining time.
5.5 Remote Control
The included remote control allows convenient operation from up to 16.5 feet away.
- Ensure the remote control has working batteries.
- Point the remote control towards the heater's display panel for optimal signal reception.

6. Safety Features
The COSTWAY Oil Filled Radiator Heater is equipped with several safety features:
- Overheat Protection: The heater will automatically shut off if its internal components reach an unsafe temperature (158°F / 70°C). It will resume operation once it cools down.
- Tip-Over Protection: If the heater is accidentally knocked over by more than 45°, it will automatically shut off. Place the heater upright on a stable surface to resume operation.
- V-0 Flame Retardant Materials: Constructed with materials designed to resist and prevent the spread of fire.
- UL-certified plug and ETL certification: Ensures compliance with safety standards.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
- Storage:
- When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place.
- Wrap the power cord neatly around the integrated cord storage area to prevent damage.
- No Internal Maintenance: The heater contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself.
