4. Installation Guide

Before installation, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet. Wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to components.

4.1. CPU Installation

1. Locate the LGA 1851 socket on the motherboard.
2. Open the CPU socket lever and remove the protective cover.
3. Carefully align the Intel Core Ultra Processor (Series 2) with the socket, ensuring the gold triangle on the CPU matches the indicator on the socket.
4. Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
5. Close the socket lever to secure the CPU.

4.2. Memory (RAM) Installation

3. Align the notch on the DDR5 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
4. Insert the memory module firmly into the slot until the clips snap into place.

4.3. M.2 SSD Installation

The motherboard supports both Gen5 and Gen4 M.2 SSDs with integrated Shield Frozr cooling.

1. Locate the M.2 slots on the motherboard. Some slots are covered by M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks.
2. Remove the M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink by unscrewing it.
3. Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
4. Secure the M.2 SSD using the EZ M.2 Clip II or a screw.
5. Reattach the M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink to ensure optimal cooling.
6. For additional M.2 Gen5 storage, install the M.2 XPANDER-Z SLIDER GEN5 card into an available PCIe slot and follow its specific instructions.

4.4. Graphics Card Installation

1. Locate the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.
2. Remove the corresponding expansion slot cover from your PC case.
3. Align your graphics card with the PCIe slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
4. Secure the graphics card to the case with a screw.
5. Connect the necessary PCIe power cables from your power supply to the graphics card.

4.5. Power Connections

1. Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your power supply to the motherboard.
