3. Setup and Charging

Initial Charging:

  1. Before first use, ensure the shaver is fully charged.
  2. Connect the Type-C USB cable to the shaver's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., adapter, USB port, laptop, power bank).
  3. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the shaver from the power source.

Attaching/Detaching the Shaver Head:

The shaver head is detachable for easy cleaning and maintenance.

  • To detach: Gently pull the shaver head upwards from the main body.
  • To attach: Align the shaver head with the main body and press down until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

Basic Shaving:

  1. Remove the protective cap from the shaver head.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the shaver. The LED display will show the battery level.
  3. Gently stretch your skin with your free hand.
  4. Move the shaver against the direction of hair growth in circular or linear motions, applying light pressure. Allow the flexing foils to adapt to your facial contours.
  5. After shaving, press the power button to turn off the shaver.
  6. Replace the protective cap.

Wet and Dry Shaving:

The VGR V-335 shaver is IPX6 waterproof, allowing for both wet and dry shaving.

  • Dry Shave: For a quick and convenient shave, use the shaver on dry skin.
  • Wet Shave: For a more comfortable and cleaner shave, you can use the shaver with shaving foam or gel, or even in the shower. Ensure the charging port is completely dry before charging.

Travel Lock Function:

To prevent accidental activation during travel, the shaver features a travel lock.

  • Activate Travel Lock: With the shaver off, long-press the power button for 3 seconds. A lock icon will appear on the LED display.
  • Deactivate Travel Lock: Long-press the power button for 3 seconds again. The lock icon will disappear, and the shaver will be ready for use.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your shaver. The shaver will display a cleaning alert after approximately 30 minutes of cumulative use.

Cleaning the Shaver:

  1. Ensure the shaver is turned off and disconnected from any charging cable.
  2. Detach the shaver head from the main body.
  3. Rinse the shaver head and the blade assembly under running water to remove hair clippings and residue. You can also use the included cleaning brush to remove stubborn hairs from the foils and blades.
  4. For a more thorough cleaning, you can use a mild soap solution.
  5. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reattaching the shaver head.
  6. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.

Storage:

  • Store the shaver in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
