Initial Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the included power adapter to the DC 5V input port on the speaker's top panel and plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

Powering On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top control panel. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Slide it to the 'OFF' position to power off the speaker.

Connecting the Microphone

Insert the plug of the wired karaoke microphone into the 'MIC' input jack on the top control panel. Ensure it is fully inserted for proper connection.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker. The display will show 'BLUE' and a voice prompt will indicate Bluetooth mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for 'RCA DISCO 206' in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair.
  4. Once successfully paired, a voice prompt will confirm the connection. You can now play audio wirelessly from your device.

USB/SD Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or SD card (TF card) containing MP3 audio files into the respective port on the top panel.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playing the audio files.
  3. Use the 'PREV', 'PLAY/PAUSE', and 'NEXT' buttons on the speaker or remote to control playback.

FM Radio

  1. Press the 'MODE' button on the speaker or remote until 'FM' appears on the display.
  2. Press and hold the 'PLAY/PAUSE' button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The speaker will save all found stations.
  3. Use the 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons to navigate between saved FM stations.

AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the 'AUX' input jack on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the audio output jack of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop).
  3. Press the 'MODE' button until 'AUX' appears on the display. Audio from your external device will now play through the speaker.

Karaoke Mode and Audio Controls

When the microphone is connected, you can adjust its volume, treble, bass, and echo effects using the dedicated knobs on the top control panel. Experiment with these controls to achieve your desired vocal sound.

Light Modes

The RCA Disco 206 features dynamic 7-color RGB LED lights. These lights pulse and change in response to the music. There are multiple light modes, including multicolor gradation, sound-responsive, and reactive color show. Use the dedicated light mode button (if available, or cycle through modes via the remote) to switch between different visual effects.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function

The TWS function allows you to connect two RCA Disco 206 speakers together for a true wireless stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (refer to the control panel diagram for location, often integrated with another button).
  3. The primary speaker will search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
  4. Now, pair your Bluetooth device with the primary speaker as described in the 'Bluetooth Pairing' section. Audio will play in stereo through both speakers.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
