Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Tripod: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the selfie stick/tripod unit and the wireless remote control.
  2. Extend the Tripod Legs (for Tripod Mode):
    • Hold the main body of the tripod.
    • Gently pull the bottom part downwards to extend the three legs outwards, forming a stable base.
    • Place the tripod on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Extend the Selfie Stick Pole:
    • Pull the top section of the pole upwards to extend it to your desired height. The pole can extend up to 50 inches.
    • Ensure all sections are securely locked in place to prevent collapse.
  4. Attach Your Device:
    • For Smartphones: Open the phone holder clamp and carefully insert your smartphone. The holder is designed to fit devices between 2.4 and 3.8 inches wide. Ensure your phone is securely gripped by the holder.
    • For Cameras: If using a camera, attach it to the universal 1/4 inch screw mount located on the top of the tripod head. Twist the camera clockwise onto the screw until it is firmly attached.
  5. Pair the Wireless Remote Control:
    • Ensure the remote control has a battery installed (one product-specific battery is included).
    • Turn on the remote control (usually by pressing and holding the button until an indicator light flashes).
    • On your smartphone, go to your Bluetooth settings.
    • Search for available devices and select the one corresponding to the tripod's remote control (e.g., "AB Shutter3" or similar).
    • Once paired, the indicator light on the remote will stop flashing or turn solid. The remote is now ready to use for capturing photos or starting/stopping video recording.

Operating Instructions

Using as a Selfie Stick:

  1. Ensure the tripod legs are folded and secured against the main pole.
  2. Extend the pole to your desired length.
  3. Hold the handle firmly and position your device for the shot.
  4. Use the wireless remote control to trigger your device's camera shutter.

Using as a Tripod:

  1. Extend the tripod legs and place the unit on a stable, level surface.
  2. Extend the pole to the desired height.
  3. Adjusting Angle:
    • The phone holder allows for 360-degree rotation, enabling you to switch between portrait and landscape modes.
    • The tripod head can be rotated 300 degrees, providing flexibility for various shooting angles. Loosen the adjustment knob, set the angle, and then tighten the knob to secure.
  4. Use the wireless remote control to capture photos or start/stop video recording without touching your device, minimizing camera shake.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tripod and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters electronic components. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use, collapse the tripod to its most compact size. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: If the wireless remote control's performance degrades or it fails to connect, replace the battery. Refer to the remote's specific instructions for battery type and replacement procedure.
  • Avoid Overloading: Do not attach devices heavier than the recommended weight capacity to prevent damage to the tripod.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Remote control does not pair or connect.
  • Ensure the remote control is turned on and fully charged or has a fresh battery.
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  • Try unpairing and re-pairing the remote control in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering with the connection.
Problem: Tripod is unstable or tips over.
  • Ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked on a flat, stable surface.
  • Do not extend the pole to its maximum height if the surface is uneven or windy.
  • Ensure your device is securely mounted and balanced on the holder.
  • Avoid placing the tripod in strong winds, especially when fully extended.
Problem: Phone holder does not grip device securely.
  • Verify that your device's width is within the specified range (2.4-3.8 inches).
  • Ensure the phone holder is fully opened and then allowed to clamp firmly onto your device.
  • Check for any obstructions or debris in the clamp mechanism.
