6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your dish drying rack.

Cleaning Instructions:

  • Wipe the rack regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove water spots, dust, and food residue.
  • For stubborn stains, use a mild dish soap solution and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly with a damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent water marks.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the protective coating and stainless steel finish.
  • The waterproof and fingerprint-proof coating simplifies cleaning and helps maintain a pristine appearance.

Rust Prevention:

While the rack is made from rust-resistant 304 stainless steel with a protective coating, ensuring proper drying after cleaning and avoiding prolonged exposure to highly acidic or alkaline substances will further prevent any potential corrosion.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your dish drying rack, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Rack is unstable or wobbly:
Solution: Ensure all screws, especially the Long Screws (Q) and Thumb Screws (S), are fully tightened. Verify that the four Suction Cups (O) are firmly pressed onto a clean, dry, and smooth countertop surface.
  • Rack does not fit over the sink:
Solution: Double-check your sink's width and faucet height against the product's adjustable range (31.5"-39.5" width, faucet height less than 21"). Adjust the rack's width as described in Section 5. If dimensions are incompatible, the product may not be suitable for your sink.
  • Water is pooling on the countertop:
Solution: Ensure the rack is positioned directly over the sink opening so that all dripping water falls into the sink basin. Check for any obstructions preventing water from draining freely.
  • Baskets or holders are loose:
Solution: Re-secure any baskets or holders by ensuring they are correctly hooked onto the bars or that their respective screws (Short Screws R) are tightened.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Sakugi customer support for further assistance.
