Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover. The device LCD will power on.

2. App Installation

The SENCKIT TH13Y operates with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application. Download the app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).

  • Search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life".
  • Install the application and create an account or log in if you already have one.

3. Device Pairing (WiFi Connection)

Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The device does not support 5GHz WiFi.

  1. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app.
  2. Tap the "Add Device" or "+" icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select "Sensor" from the device categories, then choose "Temperature and Humidity Sensor (Wi-Fi)".
  4. On the SENCKIT TH13Y device, open the battery compartment and locate the small black reset button.
  5. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 7 seconds until the WiFi icon on the device's LCD display starts flashing rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
  6. In the app, confirm that the indicator is flashing rapidly and proceed with the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your WiFi network.
  7. Once connected, the WiFi icon on the device will stop flashing and remain solid.

1. Reading the Display

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement
