4. Setup

4.1 Connecting Your Mouse

The TECKNET Ergonomic Mouse offers three connection modes: 2.4GHz wireless via USB receiver, Bluetooth 5.0, and Bluetooth 3.0. You can easily switch between these modes using the 3-mode switch button located on the bottom of the mouse.

2.4GHz Wireless Connection:

1. Locate the USB receiver stored in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse.
2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the bottom. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

Bluetooth Connection (BT5.0 / BT3.0):

1. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the bottom.
2. Press the 3-mode switch button on the bottom of the mouse to select either BT1 (Bluetooth 5.0) or BT2 (Bluetooth 3.0) mode. The indicator light will flash slowly.
3. On your device (laptop, PC, MacBook, iPad, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
4. Select "TECKNET Mouse" from the list of available devices to pair. The indicator light will stop flashing once connected.

4.2 Charging the Mouse

The mouse comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, the charging indicator light will flash. Connect the included USB-C data cable to the charging port on the front of the mouse and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

• A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
• The mouse can last for 1-2 months of intensive use on a single full charge.
• The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a DPI switch button, typically located near the scroll wheel, allowing you to adjust cursor sensitivity on the fly. Press the DPI switch button to cycle through the available DPI settings:

  • Adjust the DPI setting to a lower value.
• Side buttons not working on Mac OS:
  • This is a known compatibility limitation. The forward/back buttons are not supported on Mac OS. All buttons are not programmable.
