Setup

Initial Charging of BoostHero

Before first use, fully charge your BoostHero unit. Use the provided 24-inch charging cable and USB car charger, or any compatible USB wall adapter (not included). The battery indicator lights on the unit will show the charging progress. Ensure all four lights are solid to confirm a full charge.

Connecting Smart Jumper Cables

Locate the dedicated port on the BoostHero unit for the Smart Jumper Cables. Insert the blue connector of the Smart Jumper Cables firmly into this port. Ensure a secure connection before proceeding with jump starting.

Operating Instructions

1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

1. Ensure the BoostHero unit is sufficiently charged (at least 50% recommended).
2. Connect the Smart Jumper Cables to the BoostHero unit.
3. Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle battery.
4. Attach the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle battery.
5. Observe the indicator light on the Smart Jumper Cables. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump start. If a red light or alarm sounds, check connections for reverse polarity or short circuit.
6. Once the green light is solid, start your vehicle's engine.
7. After the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black clamp from the negative (-) terminal, then disconnect the red clamp from the positive (+) terminal.
8. Finally, disconnect the Smart Jumper Cables from the BoostHero unit.

2. Using the LED Flashlight

Press and hold the power button on the BoostHero unit for 2-3 seconds to activate the flashlight. Subsequent short presses will cycle through the modes:

• High Beam
• Low Beam
• S.O.S. (Morse code for distress signal)
• Strobe

To turn off the flashlight, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds.

3. Using as a Power Bank

The BoostHero features a USB output port for charging electronic devices. Simply connect your device's USB charging cable to the BoostHero's USB port. The unit will automatically begin charging your device. The 6,000mAh capacity allows for multiple charges of most smartphones.

Smart Jumper Cable Indicators
