The Totnz Countertop Ice Maker is designed for convenient and efficient ice production. This compact appliance produces bullet-shaped ice cubes in two selectable sizes, suitable for various beverage and cooling needs. 2. Setup and Installation
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the ice maker and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure the ice maker, ice basket, and ice scoop are present.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. The compact dimensions (8.86″ W x 11.81″ D x 12.20″ H) allow for placement in various spaces.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, it is recommended to clean the interior of the ice maker. The unit features a self-cleaning function. Refer to the Maintenance section for instructions on activating the self-cleaning cycle.
- Water Filling: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the 'MAX' fill line. The reservoir has a 2-liter capacity. Do not overfill.
3. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to power on the unit.
- Select Ice Size: Use the 'SELECT' button to choose between small (S) or large (L) bullet ice cubes. The selected size indicator will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The ice maker will begin its ice production cycle automatically. It produces 9 ice cubes in approximately 6 minutes. The unit can produce up to 26 pounds of ice in 24 hours.
- Ice Full Indicator: The built-in infrared sensor will detect when the ice basket is full, and the 'ICE FULL' indicator light will illuminate. Ice production will pause until ice is removed.
- Add Water Indicator: If the water reservoir is low, the 'ADD WATER' indicator light will illuminate, and ice production will pause. Refill the reservoir to resume operation.
- Ice Retrieval: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket. The scoop can be conveniently attached to the ice basket handle.

4. Maintenance
- Self-Cleaning Function: To activate the self-cleaning mode, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for 5 seconds. The cleaning cycle takes approximately 30 minutes, circulating water through the system to maintain hygiene.
- Draining Water: For thorough cleaning or when storing the unit, drain any remaining water from the reservoir. The drainage plug is located at the bottom of the unit. Place the ice maker over a sink or use a container to collect the water.
- General Cleaning: Regularly wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the ice basket and scoop with mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly or storage.

5. Troubleshooting
- Ice Maker Not Producing Ice: Check if the 'ADD WATER' indicator is on. Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the MAX line. Verify the unit is powered on and the 'ON/OFF' button is not held down for self-cleaning.
- 'ICE FULL' Indicator On, But Basket Not Full: The infrared sensor might be obstructed or dirty. Clean the sensor area. Stir the ice in the basket to ensure it is evenly distributed.
- Ice Cubes are Too Small or Soft: Ensure the ambient temperature is not excessively high. Use cold water when filling the reservoir. Select the 'L' (large) ice cube size for thicker ice.
- Unusual Noise: Some operational noise is normal during ice production. If the noise is excessive or unusual, ensure the unit is on a stable, level surface and there are no obstructions.
