3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

Your Oceanlend Electronic Countdown Timer requires one AAA battery (not included). Follow these steps to install the battery:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) matches the diagram inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Placement Options

4. Operating Instructions

The Oceanlend Electronic Countdown Timer features three main buttons: MIN, SEC, and START/STOP.

4.1 Setting the Countdown Timer

1. Ensure the timer display shows 00:00. If not, press the MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously to reset it.
2. Press the MIN button to set the desired minutes. Each press increments the minute value. Hold the button down for rapid advancement.
3. Press the SEC button to set the desired seconds. Each press increments the second value. Hold the button down for rapid advancement.
4. The maximum setting is 99 minutes and 59 seconds.

4.2 Starting and Stopping the Timer

• Once the desired time is set, press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown. The display will show the time decreasing.
• To pause the countdown at any time, press the START/STOP button again.
• To resume the countdown, press the START/STOP button once more.

4.3 Alarm Function

• When the countdown reaches 00:00, a loud alarm will sound to notify you.
• To silence the alarm, press any button on the timer.

4.4 Count-Up Function

• To use the timer as a stopwatch (count-up), ensure the display is reset to 00:00.
• Press the START/STOP button. The timer will begin counting upwards from 00:00.
