3. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your automatic cat feeder for first use:

1. Take out all accessories and the outside containers from the packaging.
2. Turn the housing over and insert it below, ensuring it is aimed at the correct position.
3. Place the desiccant bag into the corresponding slot in the lid to maintain food freshness.
4. Wipe the food container with a clean, damp cloth before adding food.
5. Place the feeding bowl at the food exit, ensuring it is securely attached.
6. Add dry pet food to the reservoir. Ensure the kibble size is between 2-12mm to prevent jamming.
7. Connect the power supply using the provided adapter. For backup power, install 3 D-cell batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.

General Steps:

1. Unlock Screen: Long press the "SET" button to unlock the screen. The lock icon will open.
2. Set Current Time: In the unlocked state, use the up/down arrows to adjust the hour and minute, then press "SET" to confirm.
3. Set Meal Times and Portions: Press the microphone button to cycle through meal numbers (1-6). Use the up/down arrows to set the desired time for each meal and the number of portions. Press "SET" to confirm each setting.
4. Voice Recording: Long press the microphone button to begin recording your 10-second voice message. Release the button to stop recording. The message will play at each scheduled meal time.

4.2 Manual Feeding

To dispense food manually, ensure the screen is unlocked. Press the "↑" (up arrow) button to dispense one portion of food. You can press it multiple times for additional portions.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and proper functioning of your feeder.

• Food Container and Bowl: The food container and feeding bowl are detachable and can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
• Main Unit: The base unit containing the electronics should not be submerged in water. Wipe it clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
