Setup: Battery Installation
The ZWP Replacement Remote Control requires button batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the remote control.
Required Battery Type:
- One (1) 3V Lithium Button Battery (e.g., CR2025 or similar, refer to the battery compartment for exact type).
Installation Steps:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. It typically has a small tab or indentation marked "RELEASE".
- Gently press the release tab or slide the cover to open the battery compartment.
- Insert the 3V Lithium Button Battery, ensuring the positive (+) side faces upwards, as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

Note: No programming is required for this remote control. Once batteries are installed correctly, it is ready for use with compatible fireplace models.
Operating Instructions
The remote control features several buttons for managing your fireplace functions. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the fireplace receiver for optimal performance.
