4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Before first use, clean the bean hopper lid, bean hopper, upper burr, and ground coffee container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble:
    • Ensure the lower burr is clean and free of debris.
    • Place the upper burr back into position, ensuring it clicks securely.
    • Align the bean hopper onto the motor base. Rotate it clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the arrows on the hopper and base align for proper seating.
    • Insert the ground coffee container into its slot at the front of the grinder. Ensure it is fully inserted and clicks into place.
  4. Placement: Place the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Add Coffee Beans: Open the bean hopper lid and pour whole roasted coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill. Replace the lid securely.
  2. Select Grind Setting: Rotate the bean hopper to select your desired grind setting. The grinder offers 28 precision settings, from fine (1) to coarse (28). Refer to Section 6 for guidance on grind settings.
  3. Select Cup Capacity: Rotate the cup selection dial on the control panel to choose the number of cups you wish to grind, from 2 to 12 cups.
  4. Start Grinding: Press the power button once to begin grinding. The grinder will automatically stop once the selected quantity is reached. If you selected the maximum capacity (12 cups), you may need to press the button again to stop it manually if you wish to grind less than the full hopper.
  5. Remove Ground Coffee: Once grinding is complete, carefully pull out the ground coffee container from the front of the grinder.

6. Grind Settings Guide

Recommended Settings:

  • Fine (Settings 1-7): Ideal for Espresso machines and Moka pots. Produces a powder-like consistency.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

    • Slide the dry ground coffee container back into place until it clicks.

8. Troubleshooting
