4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Low Voltage Landscape Pathway Lights Installation
These lights require a 12V low voltage transformer and low voltage wiring (not included). Ensure these components are purchased separately and are compatible with your setup.
- Step 1: Open the base of the pathway light and remove any required internal parts.
- Step 2: Open the quick-install wire connector and pull out the filament.
- Step 3: Thread the low voltage cable (not included) through the base of the light from the front.
- Step 4: Pass the cable through the fixing holes in the light's base.
- Step 5: Open the wire connector, insert the light's filament into it, and push it downwards.
- Step 6: Insert the power cord from your low voltage wiring between the two metal pins in a flat position within the connector. Tighten the connector securely.
- Step 7: Align the light's socket with the gap in the ground stake and insert it.
- Step 8: Insert the ground stake firmly into the desired location in the soil. Ensure the light is stable and upright.

4.2. RGBW Solar Fence Lights Installation
These solar lights are designed for easy placement on fence posts or flat surfaces.
- Location Selection: Choose a location where the solar panel on top of the light will receive at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal charging. Avoid shaded areas.
- Mounting: The lights can be placed directly on a flat surface or mounted onto compatible fence posts (refer to Figure 3.1 for post compatibility). Use appropriate screws or adhesive (not included) if permanent mounting is desired.
- Initial Charge: Allow the lights to charge in direct sunlight for at least 24-48 hours before first use to ensure the battery is fully charged.
5. Operation
5.1. Low Voltage Landscape Pathway Lights Operation
Once properly installed and connected to a 12V low voltage transformer, the pathway lights will illuminate automatically when the transformer is powered on, typically controlled by a timer or photocell on the transformer.
- The lights emit a consistent 2700K warm white light.
- There are no manual controls on the individual pathway lights.
5.2. RGBW Solar Fence Lights Operation
The solar fence lights feature multiple color modes.
- Power On: Locate the power button (usually on the underside or side of the light). Long press the button for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the light.
- Mode Switching: Once powered on, short press the button to cycle through the 5 available RGBW modes:
- Mode 1: Red (fixed)
- Mode 2: Green (fixed)
- Mode 3: Blue (fixed)
- Mode 4: Warm White (fixed)
- Mode 5: RGBW Breath Cycle (colors transition smoothly)
- Automatic Operation: The lights will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn, using the last selected color mode, provided they have sufficient charge.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your lights.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the lights with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. For solar fence lights, ensure the solar panel is kept clean for efficient charging.
- Pathway Lights: Check wiring connections periodically to ensure they remain secure and free from corrosion. Ensure the ground stakes are firmly in place.
- Solar Fence Lights: If the lights are not performing optimally, ensure the solar panel is not obstructed by leaves, snow, or other debris.
- Weather Resistance: Both types of lights are designed for outdoor use and are weather-resistant. However, during extreme weather conditions (e.g., severe storms, prolonged heavy snow), it is advisable to inspect them for any damage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your lights, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps.
- Pathway Lights Not Illuminating:
- Check the low voltage transformer to ensure it is powered on and functioning correctly.
- Verify all wire connections are secure and properly seated in the quick-install connectors.
- Inspect the low voltage wiring for any cuts or damage.
- Ensure the bulbs are not replaceable and the integrated LEDs are functioning.
- Solar Fence Lights Not Illuminating or Dim:
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
- Verify the lights have received sufficient direct sunlight (6-8 hours) for charging.
- Confirm the power button has been long-pressed to turn the light on.
- If the light is new, allow 24-48 hours of initial charging.
