1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your AUSDOM S5 Pro Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo. Please read this guide thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

The keyboard requires two AAA batteries, and the mouse requires one AA battery. Batteries are not included in the package.

• For the Mouse: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.
• For the Keyboard: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.

3.2. Wireless Connection (Plug-and-Play)

The keyboard and mouse connect wirelessly via a single 2.4G USB receiver. No software or drivers are required for installation.

• Locate the USB receiver, which is stored in the built-in compartment on the underside of the mouse.
• Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (PC, laptop, etc.).
• Turn on the power switch for both the keyboard and the mouse. The power switch for the mouse is on its underside, and for the keyboard, it is located on the side edge.
• The devices should automatically connect to your computer.

3.3. Compatibility

The AUSDOM S5 Pro is compatible with Windows XP/ME/Vista/7/8/10/11 and macOS. It works with desktops, laptops, and other computers.

3.4. Switching Operating Systems

The keyboard supports quick switching between Windows and Mac layouts.

• To switch to Windows OS: Press Fn + P.
• To switch to Mac OS: Press Fn + O.

4. Operating the Keyboard

4.1. Key Features

The 98-key layout combines a numeric pad and media keys in a compact design. It features ergonomic curved keycaps and a responsive scissor-switch mechanism for quiet and precise typing.

• Power Indicator / Fn Lock: Indicates power status or activates Fn lock.

• NumLock Indicator: Shows when NumLock is active.
• Media Keys: Play/Mute, Volume Up/Down, Search, Multi-Windows display, Switch Applications, Screen brightness adjustment, Previous/Next Track, Play/Pause, Print Screen.
• Voice Assistant: Dedicated key for activating voice assistant.
• Reset Keyboard: Press and hold Fn + Win + Esc for 3 seconds to reset the keyboard.

5. Operating the Mouse

5.1. Adjustable DPI

The wireless mouse offers three adjustable DPI levels (800/1200/1600) for smooth cursor control and precise tracking. Press the DPI button located on the top of the mouse to cycle through the sensitivity settings.

5.2. Mouse Buttons

• Left/Right Click: Standard mouse functions.
• Scroll Wheel: For vertical scrolling.
• Forward/Back Buttons: Located on the side, these buttons allow for quick navigation in web browsers and applications.

• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, turn off both devices to conserve battery life. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when performance degrades. Ensure correct battery type (AAA for keyboard, AA for mouse) and polarity during installation.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Connection:
  • Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer.
  • Verify that both the keyboard and mouse are powered on.
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  • Reset the keyboard by holding Fn + Win + Esc for 3 seconds.
• Lag or Intermittent Connection:
  • Move the devices closer to the USB receiver.
  • Ensure there are no large metal objects or other wireless devices interfering with the 2.4G signal.
  • Replace batteries if they are low.
• Mouse Cursor Jumps or is Unresponsive:
  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (not highly reflective or transparent).
  • Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button on the mouse.
• Keyboard Keys Not Responding:
  • Check battery levels and replace if needed.
  • Ensure the keyboard is powered on and connected.
  • Reset the keyboard as described in Section 4.2.
