Product Overview

The HeadRush FRFR-GO is a stylish 30W 2x3" desktop amplifier designed for guitarists and bassists. It provides full-range flat-response sound, making it ideal for use with amp modelers without compromising their tone. This portable and compact amplifier offers freedom from headphones and wired studio monitors for home practice.

It features a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery providing up to 13 hours of battery life, and a convenient carry handle for portability. Audio can be streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth, allowing users to play along with their favorite songs or online lessons. An 1/8" (3.5mm) aux input is also available for connecting other audio sources.

Setup

Before using your FRFR-GO amplifier, ensure it is fully charged for optimal performance. Connect your instrument or multi-FX/amp modeling pedal to the appropriate input.

Charging the Battery

  • Connect the included power adapter to the FRFR-GO's power input on the rear panel.
  • Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.
  • The battery indicator LEDs on the top panel will illuminate to show charging status. A full charge typically takes up to 3 hours.

Connecting Your Instrument or Pedal

  1. Ensure the FRFR-GO is powered off or its Main Volume is set to minimum.
  2. Connect your guitar, bass, or multi-FX/amp modeling pedal's output to the 1/4" (6.35mm) Input jack on the top panel of the FRFR-GO.
  3. If connecting an external stereo audio source (e.g., drum machine, smartphone), use a 3.5mm stereo cable to connect it to the 1/8" (3.5mm) Aux Input.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • To power on the FRFR-GO, press and hold the Power Button on the top panel until the power indicator illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power Button again until the indicator turns off.

Adjusting Volume and Tone

  • Use the Input Volume knob to adjust the level of your connected instrument or pedal.
  • The Bass and Treble EQ knobs allow for quick sound adjustments to suit your preference or room acoustics.
  • The Main Volume knob controls the overall output level of the amplifier.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming

  1. Press the Bluetooth Pair Button on the top panel. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating it's ready for pairing.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and select "FRFR-GO" from the list of available devices.
  3. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid. You can now stream music wirelessly and play along.

Private Practice with Headphones

  • Connect your headphones to the 1/8" (3.5mm) Headphones Output.
  • Connecting headphones will automatically mute the internal speakers, allowing for private practice.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your FRFR-GO amplifier.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the amplifier. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid fully discharging the battery regularly. Recharge it periodically, even if not in frequent use.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the unit during operation to prevent overheating.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your FRFR-GO, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
