6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.

  • Lubrication: Apply the provided silicone oil under the running belt periodically (e.g., every 1-2 months depending on usage) to reduce friction and extend belt life. Refer to the specific instructions for lubrication in the included user manual.
  • Belt Alignment: If the running belt shifts to one side, use the included wrench to adjust the tension bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn the bolt on the side the belt is drifting towards clockwise in small increments (e.g., a quarter turn) until the belt is centered. Run the treadmill at a low speed to check alignment.
  • Cleaning: Wipe down the treadmill with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the treadmill in a dry, clean area. Its compact design allows it to be stored under furniture.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Treadmill not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the treadmill and a working electrical outlet. Check the main power switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Belt not moving: Press the 'Start' button on the remote control. Ensure the treadmill is powered on.
  • Remote control not responding: Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the treadmill's receiver.
  • Belt slipping or skipping: This may indicate the belt needs lubrication or adjustment. Refer to the 'Maintenance' section for instructions on lubrication and belt alignment.
