Setup Guide

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours, providing up to 12 hours of playback time at 50% volume.

2. Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light illuminates.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the Bluetooth indicator (Ⓑ) is blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, press and hold the Bluetooth button (Ⓑ) for 2 seconds to enter pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "XIAOMI Sound Outdoor" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will stop blinking and remain solid. You will hear a confirmation tone.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

For an immersive stereo experience, you can connect two identical XIAOMI Portable Bluetooth Speakers:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, short press the TWS button (∞). The indicator will blink.
3. On the second speaker, short press the TWS button (∞).
4. The speakers will automatically pair with each other. Once connected, the TWS indicators on both speakers will remain solid.
5. Now, connect your device to one of the paired speakers via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (▷) once.
• Volume Up: Press the Volume Up button (+).
• Volume Down: Press the Volume Down button (-).
• Next Track: Double-press the Play/Pause button (▷).
• Previous Track: Triple-press the Play/Pause button (▷).

2. Call Handling

The built-in microphone allows for hands-free calling:

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button (▷) once when a call comes in.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button (▷) once during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button (▷) for 2 seconds when a call comes in.

3. Voice Assistant

Activate your device's voice assistant through the speaker:

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Play/Pause button (▷) for 2 seconds.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water and Dust Resistance (IP67): The speaker is rated IP67, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is tightly sealed before exposing it to water. After exposure to water, dry the speaker thoroughly before charging.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the speaker frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
