2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug.
- Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
- Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
- Only qualified personnel should perform repairs.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials, including tape and protective film. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the carrier and supplier.
3.2 Placement
Place the display case on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm (4 inches) from walls or other objects to allow for proper airflow to the condenser. Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, or areas with high humidity.
3.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
3.4 Power Connection
Connect the unit to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet that matches the voltage and amperage requirements specified on the product label. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs.
3.5 Initial Startup
After placement and connection, allow the unit to stand for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows refrigerants to settle. Once plugged in, turn on the unit and allow it to run empty for several hours to reach the desired operating temperature before loading products.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Temperature Control
The display case features a front-facing temperature control. Adjust the thermostat to set the desired temperature for your ice cream products. Refer to the control panel for specific temperature settings and indicators.
4.2 Loading Products
Load products evenly into the provided PVC-coated steel baskets. Do not block the internal air vents, as this can impede proper cooling. Ensure products are within the designated load lines to allow the sliding glass doors to close completely.
4.3 Sliding Glass Doors
The unit is equipped with top sliding glass doors for easy access. Ensure the doors are fully closed when not in use to maintain optimal temperature and energy efficiency.
4.4 Using the Lock
The display case includes a lock mechanism for securing the contents. To lock the unit, insert the key into the lock cylinder located on the sliding glass door frame and turn it. Reverse the process to unlock. For a visual guide, please refer to the video below:

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your display case.
5.1 Cleaning
- Interior: Clean regularly with a mild, non-abrasive detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Exterior: Wipe down with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Glass Doors: Use a glass cleaner and a soft cloth to keep the glass clear for optimal product visibility.
5.2 Defrosting
This unit requires manual defrosting when ice buildup on the evaporator coils reaches approximately 6 mm (1/4 inch) thickness. To defrost:
- Remove all products and store them in another freezer.
- Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet.
- Leave the sliding doors open to allow ice to melt naturally. Place towels or a shallow pan to collect water.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior.
- Plug the unit back in and allow it to reach operating temperature before reloading products.
5.3 Condenser Coil Cleaning
The condenser coils should be cleaned every 3-6 months, or more frequently in dusty environments, to ensure efficient operation. Unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the condenser fins.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, check the following common issues:
