2. Fuel and Oil Preparation

This is a 4-stroke engine. It requires separate fuel and oil. Do not mix oil with gasoline in the fuel tank.

  • Fuel: Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 92 or higher.
  • Engine Oil: Use 10W-30 4-stroke engine oil, commonly available as garden 4-stroke oil.
  1. Locate the fuel tank cap (typically larger) and the oil tank cap (typically smaller).
  2. Carefully fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline (92+ octane) using the provided funnel. Do not overfill. Fuel tank capacity is approximately 1900ml.
  3. Carefully fill the oil tank with 10W-30 4-stroke engine oil. Do not overfill. Oil tank capacity is approximately 220ml.
  4. Ensure both caps are securely tightened before operation.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Engine

  1. Place the blower on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the ignition On/Off switch is in the "On" position.
  3. If the engine is cold, engage the choke.
  4. Pull the starter cord firmly and smoothly until the engine starts. Do not pull the cord to its full extension.
  5. Once the engine starts, gradually disengage the choke.
  6. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before operating at full throttle.

2. Using the Controls

  • Ignition On/Off Switch: Located on the control handle, this switch turns the engine on or off.
  • Variable Speed Control: The throttle lever on the control handle allows you to adjust the engine speed and air velocity.
  • Cruise Control: For extended operation, engage the cruise control feature to maintain a consistent blowing speed without continuously holding the throttle.
