5. Setup and Installation

This unit is designed for plug-and-play installation in compatible vehicles. However, professional installation is recommended to ensure correct wiring and avoid damage.

5.1 Wiring Connections

• Power Cable: Connects to the vehicle's power supply.

5.2 Initial Power On

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Touch Screen Interface

The unit features a 10.1" full capacitance touch screen. Navigate through menus and applications by tapping, swiping, and pinching (where supported).

6.2 CarPlay and Android Auto

This unit supports both wired and wireless CarPlay (for iPhone) and Android Auto (for Android phones).

• Wired Connection: Connect your smartphone to one of the USB ports using a compatible USB cable.
• Wireless Connection:
  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the car stereo.
  2. Pair your smartphone with the car stereo via Bluetooth.
  3. Once paired, the system should prompt you to activate wireless CarPlay or Android Auto.
• CarPlay/Android Auto allows voice-controlled navigation, calls, messages, and music playback.

6.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The unit features Bluetooth 5.0 for hands-free calling, phone book download, and wireless music streaming.

1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on the stereo.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
3. Select the stereo's Bluetooth name (e.g., "Loddery Car Stereo") from your phone's list and pair.
4. Once connected, you can make/receive calls and play audio wirelessly.

6.4 GPS Navigation

The stereo includes built-in offline maps. For online maps and real-time traffic, connect to Wi-Fi.

• Offline Maps: Requires an internet connection to download map data initially. Once downloaded, navigation works without internet.
• Online Maps: Connect the unit to a Wi-Fi network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to use online navigation applications.

6.5 Radio (FM/RDS)

Access the Radio application to tune into FM stations. RDS (Radio Data System) provides additional information like station name and program type where available.

6.6 Steering Wheel Control
