Each suitcase is equipped with a 3-digit combination lock to secure your belongings. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:
- The lock is factory-set to 0-0-0.
- Locate the reset button (usually a small, recessed button) next to the dials. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button.
- While holding the reset button, rotate the dials to your desired 3-digit combination. Choose a memorable number.
- Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
- Test the lock by scrambling the numbers and then entering your new combination to open it.
Important: Do not forget your combination. There is no master key or override function.
2. Adjusting the Telescopic Handle
The telescopic handle can be adjusted to three different heights for comfortable maneuvering. To adjust:
- Press the button located on the top of the handle.
- Extend or retract the handle to your desired height.
- Release the button to lock the handle in place.
3. Attaching Luggage Tags
Use the provided luggage tags to identify your suitcases. Fill in your contact information clearly and securely attach one tag to each suitcase handle.
Operating Instructions
1. Packing Your Suitcase
- Open the suitcase using your combination lock.
- Utilize the dividable interior, practical straps, and pockets to organize your belongings. Secure items with the internal straps to prevent shifting during transit.
- Close the suitcase and scramble the combination lock dials to secure it.
2. Using the Spinner Wheels
Each suitcase is equipped with four 360° spinner wheels for smooth and effortless mobility. These wheels allow you to push, pull, or roll the suitcase alongside you in any direction, reducing strain.
- For optimal maneuverability, use all four wheels when moving the suitcase on smooth surfaces.
- For rougher terrain or when pulling the suitcase behind you, tilt it onto two wheels.
Note: The wheels are designed to be removable for maintenance or replacement. Refer to the Maintenance section for details.
3. Using the Included Luggage Scale
The digital luggage scale helps you ensure your bags meet airline weight restrictions. To use:
- Attach the strap of the luggage scale around the handle of your packed suitcase.
- Turn on the scale (if applicable, some are automatic).
- Lift the suitcase using the scale's handle.
- Read the weight displayed on the LCD screen. The scale has a load capacity of up to 50 kg.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Wipe the hard shell exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- For the interior, vacuum or wipe with a damp cloth as needed.
- Ensure the suitcases are completely dry before storing.
2. Wheel Maintenance
The 360° spinner wheels are designed for durability. If a wheel becomes stiff or dirty:
- Clean around the wheel axles to remove any accumulated dirt or debris.
- A small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the wheel bearings if necessary.
- The wheels are removable for replacement. Consult a professional or contact customer support for replacement parts.
3. Storage
When not in use, store the suitcases in a dry, cool place. The set is designed to be stackable, with the smaller suitcases fitting inside the larger ones for compact storage.
Troubleshooting
Combination Lock Issues
- Lock not opening: Ensure you are entering the correct 3-digit combination. Double-check each number. If you forgot the combination, there is no reset method other than trying all combinations (000-999).
- Difficulty setting combination: Ensure the reset button is fully pressed down while setting the new combination and released only after the numbers are set.
Telescopic Handle Issues
- Handle stuck: Check for any obstructions in the handle mechanism. Ensure the release button is fully depressed when attempting to extend or retract.
Wheel Issues
- Wheels not rolling smoothly: Inspect for debris (hair, lint) wrapped around the axles. Clean as described in the Maintenance section.
