- Close the compartment and re-attach the TRV to the radiator valve. The device will recalibrate.
7.2. Cleaning
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
8. Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| TRV not responding to app commands | Gateway is offline or out of range; TRV batteries are low. | Check Gateway power and Wi-Fi connection. Ensure Gateway is within Bluetooth range of TRV. Replace TRV batteries. |
| Inaccurate temperature readings | TRV is too close to a heat source or cold draft; calibration issue. | Ensure TRV is not obstructed. Consider using an external Shelly BLU H&T sensor for more accurate room temperature measurement. Re-calibrate the TRV via the app. |
| TRV not fitting radiator valve | Incompatible valve thread. | Check if an adapter is required for your specific radiator valve type. |
| Gateway not connecting to Wi-Fi | Incorrect Wi-Fi credentials; weak signal; router issues. | Verify Wi-Fi password. Move Gateway closer to the router. Restart your router. |
