1. Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Professional Installation: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical codes.
  • Power Disconnection: Always disconnect power to the circuit breaker before performing any installation, maintenance, or wiring.
  • Environmental Conditions: Do not operate the charging station outside its specified temperature range (-30°C to 55°C). Ensure the installation location is suitable for its IP65 (waterproof, dustproof) and IK10 (impact protection) ratings.
  • Cable Integrity: Do not use the charging station if the charging cable or connector is damaged.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the charging station.

2. What's in the Box

Carefully unpack the box and ensure all items are present:

  • 485 Communication Wire (for specific configurations)

3. Installation

3.1 Physical Mounting

Follow these steps for secure wall mounting:

  1. Select Location: Choose a flat, vertical surface capable of supporting the charging station's weight. Ensure sufficient space for cable management and operation.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Use the provided wall bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the expansion tubes.
  4. Mount Bracket: Secure the wall bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  5. Attach Charging Station: Carefully hang the charging station onto the mounted bracket.

3.2 Wiring Connection

The charging station features a convenient front wiring port for easy installation and maintenance.

  1. Access Wiring Compartment: Use a screwdriver to remove the security screw and open the decorative cover at the bottom of the unit. Then, remove all fixing screws from the wiring cover to access the internal terminals.
  2. Connect Main Power: Route the main power cables (Live, Neutral, Earth) through the bottom cable hole and connect them securely to the corresponding terminal blocks (L, N, PE).
  3. Connect 485 Communication Wire (if applicable): If using 485 communication, prepare the 485 communication wire (485A and 485B). Connect these wires to the provided wiring terminal and then insert the terminal into the designated wire harness inside the unit. Ensure correct polarity (485A on the right side).
  4. Secure Covers: After all connections are made, reinstall the wiring cover and then the decorative cover, ensuring all screws are tightened.

3.3 SIM Card Installation

To enable 4G connectivity, install a SIM card:

  1. Access SIM Slot: With the wiring compartment open, locate the SIM card holder. Gently catch the bottom of the SIM card holder and pull it out.
  2. Insert SIM Card: Place your activated SIM card into the holder.
  3. Reinsert Holder: Carefully insert the SIM card holder back into the SIM slot until it clicks into place.
  4. Close Covers: Reinstall the wiring cover and decorative cover.

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On

Once properly installed and connected to power, the charging station will automatically power on. The 4.3-inch TFT screen will display the startup sequence and then show the standby interface.

4.2 Charging Process

The GONEO charging station is compatible with all Type 2 socket electric vehicles.

  1. Connect Vehicle: Plug the Type 2 charging connector firmly into your electric vehicle's charging port.
  2. Start Charging (RFID): If RFID authentication is enabled, tap your RFID card on the designated area of the charging station to initiate the charging session.
  3. Monitor Status: The TFT screen will display real-time charging information.
  4. Stop Charging (RFID): To end the session, tap your RFID card again. Disconnect the cable from your vehicle.

4.3 App Control

The GONEO app provides advanced control and monitoring features for your charging station.

  1. Download App: Download the 'GONEO' app from the Android Play Store or iOS App Store.
  2. Connect Station: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your charging station via 4G, WiFi, or Bluetooth.
  3. Features: The app allows for remote start/stop, setting reservation modes, scheduling charging times, calculating electricity consumption, and monitoring the charging status in real-time.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Regularly clean the exterior of the charging station with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the casing and screen.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Charging Not Starting: Verify the charging cable is properly connected to both the station and the vehicle. Ensure RFID authentication is correctly performed if enabled.
  • App Connectivity Issues: Check your 4G, WiFi, or Bluetooth connection. Ensure the charging station is within range and has a stable network signal.
  • Error Codes: The charging station's display or the GONEO app may show specific error codes. Refer to the app's help section or the full user manual for detailed explanations and solutions for each code.
  • Slow Charging: Confirm the current setting (8A-32A) is appropriate for your vehicle and electrical supply.
