6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your DSO-510. If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Low battery or faulty charging cable/adapter. | Charge the device for at least 30 minutes. Try a different USB cable and adapter. |
| No waveform displayed in Oscilloscope mode. | Probe not connected correctly, signal too weak/strong, or incorrect settings. | Ensure probe is securely connected. Use the AUTO function. Adjust vertical sensitivity (V/Div) and time base (S/Div) settings. Check probe attenuation (X1/X10). |
| Signal generator output is incorrect. | Incorrect waveform selected, or frequency/amplitude/duty cycle settings are wrong. | Verify the selected waveform type. Adjust frequency, amplitude, and duty cycle parameters as needed. Ensure the output cable is properly connected. |
| Screen is frozen or unresponsive. | Software glitch or temporary error. | Perform a soft reset by holding down the power button until the device turns off, then restart. |
