1. Introduction

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your LENSGO TC12 Teleprompter:

1. Attach the Base Plate: Secure the main teleprompter unit to the base plate using the provided screws.
2. Mount the L Bracket Plate: Attach the L bracket plate to the base plate. This plate will hold your camera.
3. Install the C-Plate: Connect the C-plate to the main teleprompter unit. This is where your tablet will rest.
4. Mount Your Camera: Place your DSLR, mirrorless camera, or webcam onto the L bracket plate and secure it with the 1/4" screw. Ensure the camera lens is centered with the opening in the teleprompter's hood.
5. Insert Your Tablet: Position your iPad or tablet (up to 12.9 inches) onto the C-plate. Adjust the plate to securely hold the device.
6. Attach the Blackout Leather Hood: Drape the blackout leather hood over your camera lens and the teleprompter glass. This prevents external light from interfering with the reflection and ensures clear text visibility.
7. Adjust Height and Stroke: The teleprompter features an adjustable aluminum alloy liftable stand. Adjust the height (up to 55mm) and horizontal stroke (up to 170mm) to align your camera lens perfectly with the beam splitter glass and accommodate various camera sizes.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 App Installation and Remote Control Pairing

The LENSGO TC12 teleprompter operates with the dedicated "TCQI" app, available for both iOS and Android devices. A Bluetooth remote control is included for convenient operation.

1. Download the App: Search for "TCQI" in the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and install it on your tablet or smartphone.
2. Pair Remote Control: Turn on the Bluetooth remote control. Open the TCQI app on your device and follow the in-app instructions to pair the remote control via Bluetooth.

5.2 Script Management

The TCQI app offers three methods for adding scripts:

• Direct Input or Copy/Paste: You can directly type your script into the TCQI app or copy text from another source and paste it into the app.
• Select a Text Document: Create your script in TXT format on your phone or iPad, then upload it to the TCQI app. This is the recommended method for pre-written scripts.
• Select an Image: While possible, this method is not recommended as text size adjustments may be limited.

5.3 Remote Control Functions

The Bluetooth remote control provides convenient access to key functions within the TCQI app:

• Play/Pause: Start or stop the scrolling script.
• Adjust Scroll Speed: Increase or decrease the speed at which the text scrolls.
