Setup
Initial Setup and Battery Installation

Operating Instructions
Opening the Safe for the First Time
Upon first use, the safe can be opened using the emergency keys.
- Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole, usually located behind a cover on the keypad.
- Turn the key clockwise (or counter-clockwise, depending on the model) while simultaneously turning the handle to open the door.
Setting Your Personal Password
The initial password is typically "1234#". It is highly recommended to change this immediately.
- With the safe door open, locate the reset button on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment.
- Press the reset button. The LCD display will show "SET" or similar.
- Enter your new password (up to 8 digits) on the keypad.
- Press the "#" key to confirm. The display will show "GOOD" or similar.
- Test the new password with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
Opening the Safe with Password
- Enter your personal password on the keypad.
- Press the "#" key. The display will show "OPEN" or similar.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the handle clockwise (or counter-clockwise) to open the door.
Closing and Locking the Safe
- Close the safe door firmly.
- Turn the handle counter-clockwise (or clockwise) to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.
